History of NorthCoast
Serving Our Payor and Provider Partners Since 1995
About the Founder
The late Lee Passell founded NorthCoast Health Care Management Services in 1995. Lee held the position of President until his passing in October 2020. He offered more than 40 years of home health, infusion pharmacy, managed care, and patient access network management experience. NorthCoast Health Care Management has been driving ancillary network patient access programs focused on Infusion Therapy, Home Health, Hospice, and Population Health Management in addition to Pharma-related patient access and reimbursement HUB programs. Lee loved helping people.
Over the Years
After owning and operating Interim HealthCare of Cleveland, a full service home health agency, for 20 years, Lee Passell created NorthCoast Health Care Management to fulfill a request by Prudential HealthCare for an integrated network of home health providers for services to include home health care, infusion therapy, and durable medical equipment in a multi-county service area.
NorthCoast began its long-standing relationship with Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield with its integrated network in the Cleveland area.
NorthCoast complemented the provision of home health care with the purchase of a home infusion pharmacy. NorthCoast Infusion Therapies was in operation until 2008.
The network expanded to cover the entire state and the contiguous counties bordering the state.
NorthCoast expanded its payor panel to include Medical Mutual of Ohio.
NorthCoast Infusion Network (NCIN) was developed to meet a growing need for easy access to infusion and specialty services in the local market and to bring new opportunities to infusion providers.
NorthCoast hires Misty Taylor as CEO to expand its national provider network, introduce service innovation, and drive additional value to our provider and payor partners.
NorthCoast continues expanding its partnerships with payors and growing its provider network across the US.
